Deadly Web

Thu, 07/03/2014 - 20:24 -- kicks

The spider spins

it's silky web.

Small silvery strands sparkle

and something stuck struggles.

Like my life,

full of lies.

Little lies linking along,

leaving very little truth.

But these lies

will not last.

Someday things will slip -

I'll sink beneath half-truths.

I'm lucky to be alive

Amidst this web of lies.
