Death Road

She locked herself in the bathroom

Wondering "Will I have enough room?

She sat there contemplating and concentrating

But then suddenly it hit

And it seemed very legit

She lost her grip

And the pills slipped...

The bottle hit the ground.

And as she fell to the ground

She listened to her heart pound.

But-

Suddenly her heart grew weary

And her eyes became teary

She didn't understand

But this was God's plan.

She saw a light-

A light that shined so bright.

God was showing her the signs,

If only she would read between the lines

She was getting another chance

to snap out of this trance.

There was no need to take the easy way out

Especially if there was no shout...

You see, God won't give us anything we can't handle

However you may think of it as just a scandal.

But that's just the way life goes

No need to pay the toll

By going down death road.....
