Denied and Rejected

My parents fornication
Resulted in procreation
In her womb began my formation
But the debate of my termination
Was the topic of their conversation
Which led to their separation
Because she couldn't agree to the decision
Of going for an abortion
And he could sense her hesitation
My father's actions
Showed no remorse nor compassion
So I was raised through adoption
But you can never alter God's divine proclamation
Because Jehovah's divine intervention
Is beyond human imagination
Now today I hold the power to lead the nation
Through the gospel of Christ Jesus which brings redemption
By labouring in love, joy and peace to all creation
And with the mouth confession
Is made unto salvation
To my father's generation
I am a blessing with no condemnation
Even though I was denied and rejected
In Christ am alive and accepted
