Love is flowing from my soul

Understanding is oozing from my pores

The need to be there is all around

Love is not a trivial word

Love is not to be shared with any one

Love is hard to comprehend

But when you can see plain as day

And when you can think clear as water

With thoughts of crystal

You can make a decision

 

To love is to commit

To love is to give away

To trust and be trusted

To want the best for them over yourself

To love is to feel with heart not desire

 

But to decide on your love is a fight

To fight your own desire

To fight your own mind

And see through the cracks of doubt and despair

To know what you want  

To know what you want from me

And not be clouded in judgment

Love is not found in Venn diagrams or flow charts

Love is not found in animal desire and lust

Love is not found in temporary bursts

Love is not found in common sense

Love is found in another, for another, by another, with another

I decided

I know what I want

I know what I feel with my fibers

No matter how much doubt attacks

No matter any criticism

No matter the possibility of rejection

No matter how much I over think...

 

I want to hear you

I want to feel you

I want to protect you

I want to kiss you

I want to hug you

I want to snuggle with you

I want to cry with you

I want to stop your tears

I want to make you fall in love

I want you to never doubt

I want you to know, with all your heart, that I love you.
