Peel back the layers
Of oligarchy and
Hate
Before society finds it’s
Too late
Strip away all that is
Unjust
That derives from (wo)mankind’s insatiable
Lust
Greed that drives us to
Oppress
While our humanity we casually
Suppress
Arbitrary judgments run our
Lives
Discrimination cuts like
Knives
Hand in hand we rise
Against
Everything that keeps us
Fenced
In, trapped in someone else’s
Ideal
Told what to think and what to
Feel
Taught that to live free is to
Steal
Something that is not our own.
Refute the claims that keep us
Down
Divided we are lost, united we are
Found.
