Divided

Mat 12:25  And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

Stars and stripes people gripe ... we are so divided

Just one nation empty celebration ... honesty gets chided

Plenty of food well understood ... hungry stomachs growling

What is mine won’t be thine ... hear the wolves now howling

In my center you can’t enter ... all I have is mine

I’m not selfish like a shell fish ... in my pantomime

Tears of joy I employ ... to receive compassion

Emptiness my self-made mess ... leans church’s bashing

End of day time to pray ... has long subsided

A few words to soothe hurts ... who will underwrite it?

Just a pimple for the simple in daydreams for tomorrow

Happiness just a guess embracing forms of sorrow?

Can thoughts formerly fought guide the day’s direction?

Are the dreams just unseen or a true life’s perception?
