Do Not Ask Me to Shake his Hand

Do not ask me to shake his hand.
Do not ask me to say hello.
For we have already put a band.
For I will not sink that low.

Do not ask me to give him kindness.
Do not ask me to say with a smile.
For I won't take mindfulness.
And I hope not to see him for a while.

Why I ask
you want me to do this?
You have already completed the task.
I asked you to listen
to what I had to say.
But you won't pay
for the wrath you have brought upon me.

Do not ask me to give him a hug.

Say how are you are doing with a shrug.

For I will one day think of this as a brutal past.

For this is the last of which I will ask.
