DREAMER
Evidently I am a dreamer
Coincidentally I have big dreams
I am alive through music and routines
I feel life through harmonies
and eight-count schemes
But I gallop poetically from every scene
Trotting in sequence with voices
Telling me I shouldn't dream
Repeating a chorus so distortedly
I escape to wooden floors
Mirrors and chaos interrupting the silence
It's an army of chants and stomps
Delivering me from myself, the defiance
I am my critic, I am my own scoundrel
Feeling the chords and ballads
I can hear myself yell it
I am a dreamer
I have big dreams
I'll give you my solo
And sing you my ballad
No matter what you call it
I am an artist
