The Drive

Out! Get Out!

get out get out and drive!

must leave, must think,

must breathe, must thrive,

The tires are spinning,

the anger is winning,

the tears are so blinding,

and my leash is tightening,

Up hill! Down hill!

through trees! The thrill!

go fast, must go

must last, no slow,

The landscape is rolling,

alarm bells are tolling,

my heart, impeaching,

the limit im reaching,

And free, i am,

no longer call her mam'

no sir, for sure,

a free woman i am,

The tires are spinning,

the anger is winning,

the tears are so blinding,

and my leash is tightening,

I won't return,

my tires, they will burn,

a place, i'll find,

out of that state of mind,

The landscape is rolling,

alarm bells are tolling,

my heart, impeaching,

the limit i'm reaching,

Myself, i am,

the door i did too slam,

i'm out, i'm gone,

my heart does sing this song,

The tires are spinning,

the anger is winning,

the tears are so blinding,

and my leash is tightening,

I'm free, I'm me,

such glee,

to be,

so free,
