As our years in high school come to an end
Spring is here and graduation is soon;
Is it not time for us all to befriend,
As each evening brings up another moon?
Before we know it, won’t the month be June?
And college we’ll approach with many fears,
Feeling like a rookie and like a goon,
Missing our young, playful, childhood years.
But what lies ahead is all brand new cheers
A change of surroundings and a fresh start
Although it may come with so many tears
Always keep the memories close to heart.
There is a new horizon awaiting,
It is time for some recreating.
