Endure

The weight of the world is often suffocating

But I take a deep breath for determination

The mental stress maybe intolerably agonizing

But a level head will keep us in the right direction

I go to bed exhausted from striving

Only to wake up tomorrow for more repetition

Defeat may be eminently awaiting

But succeeds is worth the confrontation

The path to my goal is mysteriously looming

As I am compelled to push forward

I carry the collective history of my race on my back

To be good enough just won't cut it

Through the trials and tribulation of life

The thought that I may not be good enough is unacceptable

I must endure
