Equilibrium

The people are just mad that I want to leave

They want to hold me when I want to let go

They want to strangle me when I want to breath

They want to keep me in the rain when I want to be dry

But the equilibrium is not balanced

When I want to be safe they leave me

When I want to be a kid they make me grow up

When I want to be strangled they make me breath

When I want to dance in the rain

They take me, torture me, and make me waterless

Some how in my mind I thought the world perfect

And now as I age, so does the world

They always send their letters to me

I open them all, knowing that they are all the same

They all say,

WE WEAR THE BLACK
