The Evergreen Takes my Jacket

The evergreen takes my jacket

While I hold hands with the snow

I put my bare feet to the ice

And watch the world go slow

Moments like this

On the darkest nights

When the stars shine brighter

Than the fluorescent lights

I find a god

Though I know not her name

And that she is not mine

I find peace in her presence

And trust her design
