Feeding the Five Thousand

Jesus sailed swiftly 'cross the Sea of Galilee,

to a deserted place,  where He wanted to be.

A multitude followed though He wanted to rest,

but instead of being selfish He chose what was best.

He was put to the test,

God the Father's will He kept,

His decision was correct, correct, correct.

Jesus preached to the crowds and healed the sick,

then He asked His twelve apostles who thought it was a trick,

He said "where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?",

Phillip startled, was confused, thinking "food ain't cheap!".

But Jesus is the Chief.

His words have meaning they're deep,

Yeah His commandments we'll keep, keep, keep, keep.

Andrew mentioned a young boy with some small fish and bread,

'cept ALL the people were hungry, yeah they really needed fed!

Jesus kindly commanded the people, said "please sit down",

then He grabbed the five fish and the little bread mounds.

He calmly looked around,

The crowd was silenced no sounds,

Jesus knelt to the ground, ground, ground, ground.

Jesus gratefully gave thanks to God the Father,

yeah with magic words He didn't even bother.

After God the Son finished His prayer of gratitude,

the people peered around and there was tons of food!

It changed their attitudes,

To Jesus they were glued,

So amazed they couldn't move, move, move, move.

The apostles distributed the chow throughout the crowd,

imagine their faces; those people must've been wowed!

Yep from five loaves and two fish came a feast for five thousand,

But in the days of Jesus' flesh, miracles abounded...

Uh-huh sensations were around and...

Phenomena surrounded...

People were astounded, astounded, astounded, astounded,

Word.
