Feelings are deceiving

Ephesians 4:32

32 Instead, be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another,

just as God in Christ also forgave you.

Feelings are deceiving

Deep inside great emptiness and you are still here

Has “my” faith disappeared and made miracles impossible?

Why is this aloneness my chosen atmosphere?

As nothing now is clear … even the probable

Where does compassion come from? Is it a gift from reality?

Is it a state of mind or a condition of the heart?

Before the day is done it becomes a principality

That seems to be so kind in its helplessness from the start

It dulls almost all senses on the foundation of excuse

It justifies itself in word to remove lack of action

It has no pretenses … blinding forms of self-abuse

As it reignites every dead-well in lack of inner-action
