Swing left, swing right

you don't get it, keep your hands tight

fight like today is the last day

and hold on like you want a tomorrow

walk down the street and hunt for your prey,

you got this, put your hands up and feel no sorrow,

hit hard but soft, rejoice now and cry later,

swing left, swing right

but you aren't anyone but yourself in your own sight

you swung because you don't know what's there

and the feeling of being alone is too hard to bare,

The fight is not over but you didn't win,

go out there and don't get pinned

6 feet under is where they want you,

but 5'11 is want you stand,

Don't lose this fight for it is the position you worked so hard for

Now swing left, find yourself in the College arena,

with that Degree in your right.

For you will win The Fight
