Flight risk

Will you hold my hand tonight
As tightly as you can
I'm a flight risk
And I'm ready to take off
Not knowing where I'll land

Im nothing but a cluster
Of thoughts and ideas
You make me feel at ease
I hope that this is real

Once you have my full attention
There is no turning back
My heart is my everything
That's one thing I do not lack

The thing I lack the most
Is perfection in most eyes
If you see through this layer
We can together stand and rise.

I want to take this journey
But it seems there is fear
For maybe we may crash and burn
A risk Ill take my dear.

This is not permanent
I promise
You have the choice to leave
I'm honest.

So will you hold my hand tonight
Keep me grounded and in sight

For I am a flight risk
All I need is just one kiss.
