Fly

I want you to make me
Jump off of a building,
Without worry or hesitation
Or any thoughts of a
Parachute.

I want your words to guide me
To the edge,
And I want your hand in mine
To be the only encouragement
I need to look out and
See.

I want you to watch in awe
As I take my first step off,
And my beautiful wings begin to
Unfurl.

I want to feel your soul
As we both jump and
Fall
Fall
Fall
Deeper into the world.

I want your breath to tickle
In my ear
And whisper sweet nothings with the
Wind.

I want your very being, your very self
To be intertwined with mine,
To where it won't matter
If we dive into cement or
If our wings pick us
Up and we fly.

I want you to fly
With me,
To fall with me,
To live and breathe and die
With me.
Let's go find our building and just...

Jump.
