Forever

John 6:58 “…. he who eats this bread will live forever”

“To live forever”: What a thought ... to pray for constant hunger

for the bread that Jesus gives in His Righteousness.

Then to be filled with Him and not worry any longer

for then all things are in place ... to walk in loneliness.

“Bread from Heaven” if not digested

is like the manna that your fathers ate

and are dead”

Win a few ... lose a few ... what a way to live.

Live by faith ...  live by sight ... who knows the difference?

When it’s gone ... when it’s lost ... how much left to give?

Anger here ... wrath is formed ... is it worth the hindrance?

Love proclaimed ... love in test ... always falling short.

Is it true ... is it blue ... maybe worth the keeping?

Is it rain ... is it pain ... not able to afford?

To get rest ... accept the best ... escape from constant weeping.

Victory lost ... worth the cost ... gosh I am corrupted.

Fake the part from the heart ... as death springs up in me.

Screwed by self ... as dead on a shelf ... wounds self inflicted

in justified greed ... deaf to pleas ... from others' crying needs.

God forsaken ... for the taking ... that’s what I deserve.

In comprehension strong intention and what I ought to be.

Totally hopeless ... lost in helpless ... I really have some nerve.

In degradation’s motivation... which I still seem to see.

Doomed to wander ... rolling thunder ... judgment at the door.

No protection ... deserved infliction ... screaming bloody murder.

Cry for salvation ... no hesitation ... crawling on the floor.

Destitute perfection ... God’s reflection ... will Grace clear the hurdle?
