freedom of the 20's

Loud and bright lights fill the streets at night.
Women hide in alleys wearing loosely formed dresses.
Men dress suave in long black slacks.
Each slowly giving the secret word to men behind the door.
The room had a strong smell of smoke that ran through the air.
Tall glasses of liquor are passed from one end of the bar to the other.
Jumping music notes fill the room.
As the beat takes on a form of itself dancer legs move to swaying beat.
People of all colors giggles and chat together.
Forgetting all the worries of the sad passing day as conversation dances through the air of the room.
No fear of consequences of the laws they have broken runs through their minds.
People believed that they were drowned in sin.
Those loosely formed dresses were a sign of revenge.
They were controlled and were told no longer to drink from the brim.
The men and women were on search for freedom.
Like the flower that beginning to blossom.
So they acted in wonder like a child of age of three.
They fought and fought to gain their freedom and change.
Nothing could be harder during the era of the 20’s.
But freedom
