Some days the earth freezes over and we halt life for a while.
The tension loosens and God allows us some peaceful enjoyment.
We look at the ice glistening from the trees; read a book we thought we would never get to.
We get to think creatively and cozy up with hot chocolate.
We rekindle our relationships with friends and have fun and nonsense plying board games.
When the earth is frozen, life is impromptu and such wonderful rest it is to have!
