The Ghost's Friend

Out of all the people in my life, you're the one that has taught me the most.
"Love yourself, before loving others", but how can you love when you're only a ghost?
When you wander Earth all on your own,
to the point where you've died and withered to bone.
This is how I feel, when i know I'm alone.
You're the only one, who'll pick up the phone.
You make me want to be better, you make me want to move forward.
You have brought me up, straight out of my corner.
Now I stand tall with my heart torn in two
But it all goes away when you say
"I love you."
