Goodbye Seems to be the Hardest Word

Goodbye to those I once knew,

those that will remain are a few,

for the train is reaching its destination,

and the time to descend has come.

To the passengers that have left,

you have made an impact,

small or big,

our story will stick.

The rhythm of the train is no longer regular,

the speed has become peculiar,

the passengers are frightened,

and I have become distant.

I hear the announcement,

I'm close to my destination,

The one which I dreamed off in my imagination.

But now when the possibility is becoming a reality,

I want the clock to stop,

No more tik toks.

I am afraid of the goodbyes,

But i know,

The Time has come for me to go.
