Greater things

School,

definition: A place a learning,

what it should be,

is a place of openness,

freedom,

of expression,

of feeling,

of being.

Only the top 10 get the recognition,

but everyone is good at something,

everyone should be a winner.

A grade doesn't define a person,

a number doesn't quantify me,

a GPA doesn't average me out and decide my worth.

If I've done my best,

and my best has been done,

who is to say that I'm not good enough.

I know my self worth,

I know my desires,

my dreams,

my destiny.

At graduation you're off to a new world,

but only the top ten are regarded as special,

however the truth is,

you all made,

you're all standing there at the podium,

you're all the greatest, and you're all off to do greater things.
