Ingenuous, rambunctious, and naïve,
Raising entities, not just once or twice
High spirits we were innocent and free,
Soon enough our kin will bid farewell thrice.

Aggregation; as five we endeavor
Troubles and triumphs, contradictory
Wisdom and banter we learn together
Lore of reciprocal fidelity.

In between a rock, and a harder place
Decisions, decisions fluent in time
I will take on the world at my own pace
Outset in Carolina’s raw sublime.

Yet I know I will yearn for my fresh past
Parting the nest so my success will last.
