It's like every since the day I was born she been around
Some how she found her way in my life and just stuck around
She watch me as a child, grow with his brother and single mother
Just a kid that use to wonder, why his father would never bother
Being older, played the position as "man of the house"
Thinking about my life at a younger age, it played out
Mother working hard to provide
Struggling doing a 9-5, stressing, I could see the pain deep in her eyes
Middle school days, I promise them were the roughest
I felt like she cheated on me and did me worser than others
Everybody that I knew was wearing Jordans and Air Forces
Was buying shoes out of Wal-Mart because I couldn't afford them
On a budget, no McDonalds for dinner, it was Beans & Franks
Paying so many bills, couldn't deposit a dime inside the bank
Relationship developed between us, is like no other
