The Hill

apon this day I sit then lay

and stare at the city this day

I need no thrills

as I lay on this hill

I simply lay here and pray

I wonder of better times

or days I spend with friends

in the end around the bend

it is here I prefer to lay

every day I wake at the break of dawn ready for a brighter new day

here I stay were I wish to lay

apon this hill I pray.
