All I want to do is let little black kids know that they’re worth something

In a world that has instilled in them that they’re worth nothing

I want to let them know that they matter.

Imani is nine years old and she is being called a young woman

And Molly is thirty three screwing up and always seems to have some sort of cushion

Why can’t black children have a chance at their lives before they shatter?

Jake is star of the football team who can do no wrong while robbing houses for fun

But when Trevon is driving to his state university he gets pulled over and in his back is a gun

Black lives matter more than when a person is found slain.

Black Lives matter ALWAYS.
