Well I just wanted you to know that I was here

I am here

I am here like that tooth brush you grab every morning

Or when you close your eyes and darkness meets you instantly

I am here.

I know I may have been not here and maybe elsewhere.

But I do know now

I am here

And you are

Gone

How frustrating can that be?

Freshly awake, sleep in your eyes, off to the bathroom and no TP

Or when you roll over only wishing to say good morning to your favourite person and no person

You not being here

I could rip out my veins and still feel less pain than the absence of your presence

I don’t know where you are and why you won’t be here with me

But I am here.
