I'M PREPARED TO DIE

I keep having nightmares like something is feeding off my fear. I feel a dark energy that won't let go of me. I've seen his face, "a black knight" red eyes, Giant. He lives in a rural area of arizona. I can't explain it, but he's here. I feel him watching me. I'm tired of running. It's time to put this war to a end. I'm afraid, but I'm willing to sacrifice anything to win. I won't lose. "I'm prepared to die" I arrived at the location we're I've seen the knight. I recognized it from my nightmares I've had of him. It was a tiny little canyon in the middle of nowhere. There was no way to get to it. It was Like a tiny little island. Before it was just depths below. It was cold but the environment smelled like burning flesh. I had to stay focused. I couldn't let anything distract me from my reason from why I was here. So I took a deep breath, I took three steps back. Ran as fast as I could. I jumped across the depths. As I did it felt like time froze in the moment. Or It could have been the fact of knowing that if I didn't make, this would be it. I landed on the small canyon. Stumbling to get to my feet. I didn't realize how deep this canyon was. It was probably ten to twelve feet of a drop. I looked around the cold dark clouded canyon. Everything was silent. Nothing but rock. "Was I just imagining this?" I thought to myself. "Why am I even here, what if I was just in my head? I better leave before some type of dangerous animal comes out." As I started to find a way back, black clouds started forming from above, creating a light red rain. "What the hell" I said. "This is not normal" I put the red liquid to my nose to discover the scent. "It smells like blood" I said. Seconds after, red lightning was forming in the sky. creating the ground I was standing on to rumble. The lightning was striking the ground below me. I thought it was all going to give way. I couldn't find anything to grasp on to. Because of the way the canyon was set up. So I would just fall. With all of the heavy shaking I couldn't keep on my feet. So I stumbled and fell to the ground. I was pleading for nothing to give way. I wouldn't survive if it did. Eventually the lightning and rumbling stopped, creating a calm breeze. It was so quiet that you could hear a pen drop. Then suddenly, I hear a low distorted voice. "Zaemon....kill zaemon, kill zaemon" the voice rumbled repeatedly. I was afraid. He knew my name. Suddenly lightning strikes the big rock in the corner of the canyon. Causing a knight to rise from the darkness. He was taller than I expected. He had to be at least eight feet tall. He had a sword just as long as his body. Armor that covered top to bottom. The only features I could see was his eyes. They were blood red with no pupil to be visible. And every step he took shook the ground. Causing me to have to catch my balance every stomp. But I have to remember the reason why I came here. The reason why I stayed strong. I can't let this fear stand forever. I'm tired of running, I'm tired of being afraid. I will do what I must, you will not win. I'm not backing down. I'm ready for anything, I'm ready for war. "I'm prepared to die."
