The Land of the Free

In the land of the free

And the home of the brave,

Our government plays us

Like rats in a cage.

We can't afford rent

'Cause money don't pay

But there's no way to leave

'Cause it's food or a plane.

So we're told that we're free

since there's laws against slaves

but we're forced in this system

and we have to behave.

So don't take a knee

Don't march in the streets,

If you protect your water,

We'll spray it with bleach.

We don't need your voices

They protest too loud

So put your hands in the air

And don't make a sound.

You don't have no rights,

Now get on the ground!

If you speak any louder,

We might fall off the mound.
