IN LIFE

Through all my tribulations,

  I've finally come to claim

That every persons actions,

Are what form their given name.

And if you're just and upright,

Your name will do no harm

But if you live in devious lies;

The name has lost it's charm.

A lifetime is a long time,

For one to set the course

And if your life is spent in agony,

  Blame yourself for the remorse.

You can change your path along the way,

It's up to you to choose

For every decision you do make,

Tells if you win or if you lose.

So think your thoughts of 'morrow,

 Thru until the very end,

For if you walk on broken dreams,

  These steps you cannot mend.

Your future may be one of grief,

  And sorrow along the way

And you're the only one who decides,

If you've lived this life in vain.
