Like a lock and key,
Together always, you and me.
One without the other?
That was insane.
Until there came that one lonely day.
I couldn't resist the eyes, the look
I bet he could read me just like a book.
I can hardly remember that drastic night,
I didn't even try to put up a fight.
I had loved him so, can't you see?
Together forever, lock and key.
Until he left after that one mistake,
I still feel like I should never awake.
He yelled and screamed, off went the key,
Leaving the lonely lock, lonely me.
