Those ocean bright blue eyes
An ocean that could sink any ship
Into its beautiful waters
Those eyes bursting with light
But hidden in a black hole

Eyes with so much light
Once filled with so much hate
Imagine the tears at night
And the soft whimpers
Muffled by her pillow

Beautiful eyes
With so much light
Covered by a black box
Only letting a little light shine
To those she trust

The betrayal and abandonment
Feeling distant and unworthy
Seeing the pain in her eyes
Wanting to fill them
Fill them with joy and love

All the painful experiences
Seemed to disappear
As her eyes set on mine
And a smile spread across
That beautiful freckled face
