Love of My Life

Dear pizza,

I love the way your cheese can melt

right onto my tongue

and the way your crust felt

as it stubbornly clung

to the backs of my teeth

waiting for more

and olives hid beneath

the wavering floor

of saucy goodness

I needed to explore

flavor exploding at your cleanliness

There can’t be anything more delightful than you

I love you pizza,

I really do
