Love Poems about Her

When I first saw you my heart skipped a beat and my eyes grew wide

I couldn't look away from you and it was a battle to keep my feelings inside

You flashed me that smile and gave me that stare

And at that moment it became too much to bear

I somehow got some courage and I slowly walked across the room

With each step I became more intoxicated by the fragrance of your perfume

We had some small talk and some laughs, and it seemed like there would be nothing more

But it was enough for me because your voice alone sent me to a place I could forever explore

Sadly the sun was setting, and the day ended as quickly as it had began

But I gladly watched the sun go down, because I could feel your fingers intertwined in my hand
