Me Against the World

I take my first step, out of a land where nothing’s leftUntil my last breath, did God intend me for this test? I’m headed for danger, friends treat me like a strangerAnd flooded with anger, tell me is this a part of nature? I’m running away, down a road to seal my fateAnd fleeing the hate, I can’t believe I can escapeI`m praying to live, know they`d rather see me deadToo loath to forgive, they rather fill my head with leadMy oath, i’ve sworn, is to only fight for my unborn. To keep them informed, and tame the storm from killing more, I keep addressing, all the problems that are keeping me stressingBut Politicians and hypocrites they don't want to listenAnd now i’m here, and even still i feel this fear?No excuse, the truth hurts, cause it's just me against the world.
