This is me; take it or leave it.

I am from English breakfast tea

          enlaced with milk and honey.

I'm from Rollingwood,

          from tall grass, high heat, and trees who's spring flowers fall like snow in my imaginary winters

I am from the smell of confederate jasmine and pure white gardenias,

          two fragrences dancing in the wind, creating the beautiful smell of home.

I am from gyoza, gyros, and tacos

          from daddy's sweet song and mum's never ending words of encouragement.

I'm from Gabriel and Michael, my in house angels,

          Caleb and Adele, my angels on speed dial.

I am from Tracy Chapman's Fast Car that makes me want to leave and never look back

          and Aerosmith's Dream On because, you gott dream until your dreams come true.

I am from Doctor Who, Sherlock, Warehouse 13, and all things BBC.

          and here's one for my Tumblr family. FOREVER ANON.

I'm from the book I read last night, to the one I read this morning and the one I'll read this afternoon;

          their words flying off the pages to rip me apart and then tape me back together piece by piece.

I am never completely completely the same, but always more beautiful than before;

          the author holding me, folding me, molding me into the character in which they are creating.

I am from jumping, but never falling.
