That they are futile.  Meetings

In meetings, we have very oft

we gather to hear lots of talk

Is the speaking there too soft

since no one improves their walk?

We put everything aside to learn

what most everyone knows

and we duplicate in every turn

instead of keeping  interest afloat

Is it a stage or just a way

to show that we are up to par?

Or are we becoming just prey

for someone who rules from afar?
