Mind-boggling
Galatians 5:19-21
19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, depravity, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hostilities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish rivalries, dissensions, factions, 21 envying, murder, drunkenness, carousing, and similar things. I am warning you, as I had warned you before: Those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God
Depravity a choice?
Slakbalah and Balahas went together on vacation.
They traveled through a mind to the center of attention.
They erected there a tent … and prepared for relaxation
and swallowed daily vitamins to be guided from frustration.
The place they had chosen … was not a pretty sight.
It seemed to be infested … with worms to terrorize.
All things appeared temporal … total lack of the infinite.
There hung a sickly odor … of puke and parasite.
Surrounded by walls it seemed … with really no way out.
It seemed so pressured up … with what it was all about.
The more it filled itself … the more there seemed to sprout
flows of its own sewage … recognized without a doubt.
Depravity at its best … came now in sight
not very attractive … but surely strong in might
it seemed undefeatable … and certain in its plight
to remove the Creator … but not without a fight.
It was a clear picture … developed in this mind.
It wanted to be its own god … in its chosen time.
A lover of darkness … with the attitude of a swine
as greed and anger flourished … drowned in sin of every kind.
Death was ruling everywhere … as the body moved through life.
The man had many children … and an attractive wife.
Many seemed to like him … as in darkness he knifed
to fulfill his own desires … at any cost and price.
No boundaries were keeping him … no restrictions curbed his plans.
Everything he hungered for … he grabbed with both hands.
He craved for the material … there just was no end.
He wanted to gain the whole world … as his soul ate death as planned.
Slakbalah and Balahas … picked up all their gear.
They had seen hell at work … and had been way too near.
Selfishness at the core … without any form of fear
had driven these men to the place … where only they were dear.
