Mirror

1 Corinthians 13:12

12 For now, we see in a mirror indirectly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known.

Mirror

Unexpected tragedy … I am looking in the mirror.

I see some familiar traces … but to my simple horror

The person that I know so well … but don’t understand at all

has me under his spell … in a never-ending fall

If any should now wonder … to think himself unique

Only some thought up yonder ... or some of the physique

Wait till the day will come ... to notice little difference

Vaguely seeing and partly blind to obstacles of a hindrance

Welcome changes I will make … I’ll just use some plaster

Moving to another road … to escape fatal disaster

Making my own map in advance … before I’m going

with my head in my lap … to a milestone of the knowing

LOVE IT! I’m writing a poem that’s a collection of bible verses that sound like poetry, mind if I use this one?
