A moment in time ...

Luke 7:45-47 New King James Version (NKJV)

45 You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. 46 You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. 47 Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”

A secret gift to her alone … sporadic in self’s forlorn illusion

Love’s light searching deep into the inner-core of her being

Uncovered before the Throne through life’s solemn submission

With grieving eyes that weep, but now in full truth are pleading

Hat placed still on her head … face placed on the floor

Slightly turned sideways with palms flat on the ground

How could she forget … the right words taught o’r and o’r

In preparation for this day … in a world that spins around

Now here is only serenity … all is peace and quiet

Now sounds are heard not even the song of a nightingale

Restored now in virginity as God seems all delight

As He hands her the Priceless Pearl as everything else now pales

He lifts her by the hand until she stands on her toes

She swirls like a ballerina in a graceful pirouette

Now in Glory-land as her dance slowly knows

The moves of the Angelic to glorify the Perfect

It was worth the waiting for … Jesus smiles again

A daughter came home and rejoices in His Presence

Removed are all the sores … forgotten all the “when’s”

A whisper soft “well-done” … you anointed be My Essence
