My Earnest Plea

Here I am once again
As my knees hit the ground hard, head bowed low and tears racing down my face
My heart, body, soul
Aching to repent
Father please give me a second chance
You see I never really intended on sinning again
However, temptation drew me IN
Unfortunately, my flesh over took my spirit man
Opening the door to darkness, letting death choke
The life
The light
Out of me
Why didn't I use the way of escape you had provided
Turning my back against sin
Instead you found me on my knees crying
God I'm so broken
My heart is shattered
How many times will I keep crucifying you with my actions
Whip after whip
Each wound gets deeper
Tear after tear
Your blood sheds heavier
My whole body begins to shut down instantly
Just giving sin an opportunity to bury itself fully
Becoming enslaved to rulers of this world
Drenched in total agony
Sin leaving me lifeless
I yell out in pain "I'm tired"
God un break these chains
Deliver me out of the hands of the enemy
Give me that perfect remedy
The remedy of your love, mercy, and strength
Let my cup run over from your healing power
So I can have enough until the end of this race.
Heal immediately just like you healed the woman who had tremendous faith to know if she would just touch the hem of your garment she would be restored
That's the faith I want to have bigger than a mustard seed, and more tremendous then a mountain
Sin can't tie me down when God called me out, he called me out of darkness and into light
I said God snatched me out of darkness and into light
Death had no hold on me
Satan could not capture me
My flesh will not entangle me
God provided an escape from my temptations
Drowned me with love and said no longer do I have to feel alone again. you see “Loneliness” is what causes you to sin. Take my hand my daughter let me lead you to your promise land
In a land where there's streams flowing of milk and honey
No longer will you ever have to thirst or starve forevermore
Because from this day on I will feed you with my word
As you swallow the unconditional love that I have buried in u
Everything you touch will be blessed
Blessed are my people
I walk among them
When they cry I collect every tear from their faces
Sin will not lead you down the road of despair
So my child walk with me in my shadow
Walk in my peace
And walk in my victory
And I will promise you that whenever sin chokes the light out of you
I will always be there to breathe life right back into you. Whom the son sets free is free indeed, and my mercies are made new everyday
Sin does not define
I define! Pure gold you are
And greater you'll become
