My Everything

All I need in my life is my family,

They are the ones who have my back when times get rough,

They are the ones who taught me how to be tough.

When life throws out obstacles that seem too hard to bare,

My family is always with me to help in my despair.

There are many people out there who will try to bring me down,

But I refuse to let them win and will give them quite a showdown.

My momma always told me to go out and follow my dreams,

And that life isn't always as crazy as it seems.

My sisters always told me to be the best person I can be,

Because there will never be another me.

My daddy always told me to keep my head held high,

And that I can amount to anything if I just reach for the sky.

My faith is what keeps me going down on this rightful path,

And keeps me away from temptations wrath.

There are people in this world with different needs than me,

But my family is all that I will ever need.
