The Good Ole Days

What happened to the good ole days? What happened to everyone getting along? What happened to the Sunday dinners at grandma's house? What happened to the kids playing outside? What happened to the women having morals and being queens? What happened to men respecting women and being kings? What happened to the kids being taught to obey and respect the elderly? What happened to the good ole days?

Why can't we put our phones down? Why can't we turn our TV off? Why can't we eat dinner together as a family? Why can't we talk to our parents? Why can't we help one another? Why can't we help younger kids with their school work? Why can't we go back to the good ole days?

The good ole days is when we would come together as a family and talk to one another. The good ole days is when we would do anything to make sure our kids and household are in order. The good ole days is when we would see our mother and father together. Can we bring back the good ole days?

Tell me what happened? Why have things changed? Why can't we all get along? Where has unity gone? Maybe the world wouldn't be as corrupt as it is if we just bring back the good ole days.
