My mind wonders

See my mind wonders
I conceptualize vivid eyes on the prize to success
without doubt in my mind i digress in the pursuit of happiness like the succulent nipple on a breast im still young like alcohol similac is on my breathe and despite my obstacles and stress I continue life as if it was my last breathe oxygen Flows to my heart as a single beat
compressed inside of my chest so this luxury called life I call it blessed you simply can not judge a book by its cover because the pages unfold and a little black boys story becomes untold marked by society as wanted not to be loved but they strip the black man of his dignity so that his offspring can follow the same journey now this becomes foreign to me it's a policy neglect of my skin so they called it sin but with prayer they say we are forgiven see i told you my mind wonders
