Not Really A Friend At All

Support, another name for a friend.
Something that you really haven't been.
Instead of trying to see through my eyes
All you do is sit there and criticize.

"You're the worst" jokingly said
just makes more poetry to be read.
But I'm the worst and I won't amount.
At least this is all said by your account.

The only thing I'm good at apparently I'm not
Yet just to be sitting here across the table I fought
for the right to go to college, to do what I appreciate
and OBVIOUSLY for "friends" who cannot relate.

I don't like the way you yell with disrespect.
Like your anything but imperfect.
We all see that you have flaws too
We also see the good, because that's what we do.

The friendships I want to create
are not for you to dictate.
A friend like you watches me fall
I guess you weren't really a friend to me after all.
