Individuality, gone
Hope, ha, you've got none
Everything that you found light in,
They locked away, out of reach
You tried to find simple bits of happiness
But you were stripped of them
Everything that is you, now undone
Your quirks, your mind, gone
All ground down to keep you there
Under their thumbs
You can't even breathe without permission
It may seem childish and worthless
But it isn't to you
To you, it's everything
It is everything that makes you who you are
Your imagination and personality
You break their bonds
They only push you back
However, hundreds rise with you
Your movement grows
The violence only increases
Brother turns on brother
Blood is shed, a martyr created
A cause unified amongst all,
Young and old
You gain ground, overcome oppression
The little joys slowly return
The light flickers on
There is no more fighting
There is peace among the one nation
