Pain

PAIN

You writhe in disgust

You've succumbed to the sour bitter taste

Letting all of your thoughts go and deriving all attention to this unpleasant food

Yet I in desperation beg for this taste

Go to extreme measures

For this taste

Receive pleasure from this taste

It's an acquired taste

I close my eyes

You cry and scream

You run

You avoid it

You go to extreme measures to escape this

But as for me

A small smile creeps from the cracking corners of my bloody mouth

I succumb to the peace

Of the pain
