The Paper Compass

It was there, on that cliff above the labyrinth of trees

I saw the water rise in walls of collective thunder

Among the towering brambles of Green, I saw

Miles towards the setting sun and warmth of the simmering day

It was there in the tall grasses that creatures bounded

Past valleys of water in crackling deserts which inspire Arabian Nights

Across the stars, silver lines intertwine the illuminating heavens

Bright and alive the world flows with stories

Onward on another adventure today

Travel fees are cheap

When Imagination navigates the way
